Walking in the grass

An hour before the time I want to wake up, more exactly at 9 AM, I started to turn around in my bed. A certain noise was disturbing my already too shallow sleep. Seconds later I realised what was the source of the noise - my mother who wanted me to get up. Why I questioned myself, but just before I was to ask the question I remembered. Yesterday, I agreed to play golf with my mum at 10 AM. The only sad thing is I did not think about that fact while I was finishing reading "Digital Fortress" ( a quite interesting book by Dan Brown). The reading was of course interesting, but like a hungry wolf it had also eaten parts of my precious sleep. Tired, I finally managed to get into the shower to wash away all fatigue still tormenting my body. Five sandwiches and several glasses of milk later, I found myself sitting in the car, heading for the golf club.

Arriving, I found myself not beeing too tired anymore. So I began doing some warm-up exercises to get ready for the four hour long game, 18 holes. These four hours of walking did quite good to my body, but I also had to endure the most intense sunlight during the day... Quite tough since there are no good opertunities to take a bath while playing. (you could of course jump into one of the water obstacles, but the question is if you really prefer clay and leeches before some heat - I don't). Finishing the round after almost five hours (we had four slow-motion oldies in front of us), we finally sat in the car again. Minutes later, on my brothers moped heading the 300 meters down to the sea, then a short rush, a jump and finally I could feel the water surround my body. Wonderful, from torture to plain pleasure in one second.

Returning to the house I made some american pancakes, which I happily eat togeather with my family, sitting in the sunlight on the terrace. Moments of pleasure... Wonderful...

Some gaming and a pizza later I am now wondering what to do the rest of the evening. More gaming (I'm competing with my brother, playing the classical game "Zelda: Ocarina of TIme"), some guitar play, some acrobatic moves in the garden or prehaps start to read the only of Dan Brown's books that I yet have not read; Deception Point. Guess that I'll make my choise sooner or later. Peace!

:D Zelda "Ocarina of time". I didn't know that you spend some of your time exactly in the same way as I. ^^ For, ( or I won't reveal for how many years I have been struggeling with that game ) I'm playing it too. But now I'm stuck in the temple of the ghosts. :P As a matter of fact I can't play if my brother is not around, it becomes too exciting for my poor nerves. :S Hehe :P
Good work!
